Media reports indicate that a priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Korosten was detained by representatives of the TCC

An incident occurred in the Zhytomyr region involving representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) and a clergyman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). Father Sergiy Bovsunovsky, a priest of the Ovruch Diocese, was detained at a checkpoint near the city of Korosten.
According to “Pershyi Kozatskyi,” the detained clergyman is currently being held at the Korosten TRC. As of now, no official comments have been received from military commissariats or law enforcement agencies regarding the circumstances of the detention.
As a reminder, we previously reported on a high-profile incident in Lutsk involving the forced mobilization of a clergyman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) by employees of the local Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC).
